I read about that Prius investigation too. I also heard that Toyota has issued a recall for the ECM and owners should be notified over the next 2 months or so. I guess it's an electrical problem that makes it so only the electric motor is running while on the freeway and has no way of recharging. If you aren't watching it carefully, you could be stuck on the freeway like many owners have.
