I have never heard of any agency be it insurance or state etc "salvage" a car unless it exceeds the book value, has a major repair such as frame or significant damage that will reduce drivability of a vehicle or lets say safety...
especially for an 800.00 bumper!

I sure could be wrong

Have been searching for a used 3-5 series BMW for the wife as a driver.
Found this on ebay near my home. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330230032922&_trksid=p2759.l1259
Peace

I wouldn't trust it, but that's just me. If the damage was to the front of the vehicle, why is the drivers side rear airbag missing?

 Again scam, anyway he replied ..
Dear righteouschoppers,

well the owner got paid full price for the car, thats why insurasance takes the car.
