Anyone bring their parts lo let Don install on their NSX? I bought a Brake Master Cylinder from Dailracing and I call Don to have it install on my car. His Wife told me they will ONLY install parts they provide?? and I can't bring my own parts to have them install???

Did they changed policy which I didn't know?

Don installed a new timing belt, water pump, and hoses for me a few months ago. I had bought most of the parts earlier. However, these were factory parts, which he probably trusts much more than aftermarket stuff (i.e., no danger of requiring rework). There also may be an issue of lost profit on the parts. If that's the case, just offer to pay a "corkage fee" on the parts you bring.

Installing a brake master cylinder yourself is pretty easy IF you use a flare nut wrench and you don't mess up the brake line nuts.

The Master Cylinder I bought from Daliracing is OEM part from Acura. Maybe it's just his wife...I will try to talk to Don next time.

I've had Don install many after market parts on my car that I provided..... struts, springs, headers, etc..

I know this: Don has installed many parts that I have supplied, from tires to trannies. I've also heard that his wife would like to see more of him and grows weary of the long hours that he puts in on his second love: our NSXs.

It's close to Valentine's Day. Let her have her way this once.
