What is this click.......

I think I know but just wanted to check... When I turn the key to the on position and wait a second, I hear a click behind my left ear...... I assume this is the fuel pump clicking on......am I right? I also noticed tonight that, when I get on it a bit while driving, I hear the same click up around 4,500 rpm and again when I let off it.... is this the pump changing speed? I thought I read somewhere that the NSX has a two speed pump, am I right in these assumptions or am I just making up shit???? I just never noticed it before while driving, so I am curious. Thanks again.

You're exactly correct. First click is a relay for the fuel pump circuit, click around 4,500 rpm is the fuel pump increasing voltage to go to hyper mode...
