I'd probably be talking to the bike manufacturer relatively soon after that..

I would have made SURE the bike wasn't going to 'disintegrate' at 100mph. I'd be pissed if a regular bicycle with the proper tires disintegrated at 100mph. I've done 40-50mph several times on mountain bikes but I also wasn't hitting any bumps.
