What portable DVD player?

I am looking for a portable DVD player that I can use when I trave on a plane plus use when I am at home an plug into my widescreen TV when I am home. I currently own a Initial portable DVD which I purchased at WalMart for about $90 and it's crap after a few years of use. I'll only use it a few times per month.

Do you have a laptop? I'd just use that. Most portable ones are just like you said, crap. If you don't have a laptop, for the cost of a really good portable DVD player, you could just buy a basic laptop.

Exactly, just use your laptop or buy a used one or a cheap new one. Way more versatile and the battery life should be just as good. I had some expensive dvd player thing and I thought it was crap.
