What should the COMPRESSION on a 97 be with a GUAGE?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone if ever did a compression test on the cylinders of an NSX to determine how much compression they can hold. I am planning on conducting a test on a car that I am buying so, please let me know. Thanks!

Mine come in between 160psi and 175psi when the engine is somewhat cold and throttle closed. I know the engine is supposed to be warm and the throttle held open when doing a compression test but that's not my benchmark.

Check out Service Manual page 3-2, it lists the compression to be around 199 psi for a '92, max variation of 28 psi

Thanks, but this can't be the same for the larger 3.2L engine could it? Anyone else have definitive confirmation from the 97+ shop manuals?
