Well, my 2003 G35 sedan has over 105k and I'm ready to retire it. More and more small issues are showing up for me to fix, so I took it to a local shop that did most of the maintainese on it and found out it would cost me close to $4k to get all the little annoy things fix.

I'm looking for a 4 seater, sporty, NO SUV or MINI VAN. Already got the NSX so no 2 seater either. Plus I would like to keep the payment under $600 per month, lease is fine with me.

Any suggestions????

By the ways, so far I'm considering the following.
TL
IS350
BMW335 or 328 (more affortable)

Look at Acura.com and look at the TL-S that one looks interesting.

The new G35 (2007) owns the IS350...check it out.

Well, nothing against the G, but I got mine when it first came out and it cost me new brake pads and rotors every 12k-18k miles, plus it gets less than 20MPG with my style of driving, not very impress with it, I will look into the new G and see if I like it any better.

The TL Type S looking good, but I do not think it is available yet:frown:

Thank you, any other suggestions?

Definitely TL Type S. I think they will be out any day or week now.

Seen one last week, sick car but a ton of cash. If your trying to keep your budget under $600, I wouldn't even glance at a TL-S.

Ton of cash after dealer markups, or MSRP? I thought MSRP was supposed to be in the high 30s.

I believe sticker is $39k. Markups? The majority of TL's currently sold at at or below invoice. I true car to "steal" would be an 06 TL 6 speed. Can be bought new without NAVI for about $30k and you can no longer get a 6 speed base TL for 2007. Type S with NAVI will be the only choice.

With your comment about a ton of cash, I was wondering if dealerships were going to be marking up the Type-S upon release (I realize the TL is marked down). $39K seems fairly reasonable to me.

Audi s4 or if you can afford it RS4

Both are over $600 a month, although a year and a half ago Audi had an S4 6 speed lease special for $499 a month with 3k down, 39 months, 12k a year:eek:

The new G is supposed to be pretty nice...

I can't comment on the gas mileage, I'm sure the Acura will be better...but FWD is no fun for a large sedan in my book. The IS350 is nice, but personally I think it's ugly...and I'd rather have a manual if I could. For the price the G35 is supposed to come in quite a bit lower...should be a bargin. Quality wise, well, it's probably still a little behind, but who knows.
The new G35 is also pretty quick...they ripped a sub 14 sec 1/4 in it.

As much as you drive, consider a hybrid.
I would agree with this. But since you're going from a G35 sedan I would suggest the Honda Accord Hybrid for just a little over $30K. 25/34 mpg and 253HP/232TQ so you won't be missing much in terms of performance, however I don't think it's available in a manual. It's not as luxurious as the others mentioned but you'd be suprised for an Accord.

for you? mini cooper "S" :D

I was looking it on the net last night, nice little car, I need to talk to Steve R. about his and find out how much more to get the HP up.

But Mindy (my wife) said I look too big for that car:mad:

I thought about it, and thought about it, and thought about it some more.

Now that I do not have to drive to Lake Forest to work everyday, my mileage had drop about 50%, therefore, I was hoping for something sporty with 4 seats.

BMW 335 was high on my list until I found out the payment $740/month including Tax, 36month lease with no down. Since I already have a 530I, I get owner's loyalty rebate of $1000 on the drive-off. Too bad....

IS350
Used M5
CLS 55 AMG

Still thinking about IS300, but not a Mercedes man, used M5 sounds good, but hate to worry about the maintainese and repair bill.

Get an Audi S4.

They are really quick, reliable, look good.

I have a 2004 A4 with the Ultra Package
(RS4 rims and S4 body updates are the ultra package)

and I LOVE IT...

just wish it had the s4 power.

The S4s are getting cheaper too.

Just my thoughts... its a nice car for the money.

My vote goes either to a new 335 coupe (if affordable) or a used M5.

Used M5 is out of price range, I went and test drove the 335 auto (did not have manual in stock), wow, very impressive, this baby packs a big punch.

Now I really need to consider spending over $700/month for this:tongue:
