What type of Exhaust is this?

Can someone identify my exhaust & would anyone know if the Taitec Center exhaust would be quieter. It's a little bit noisy in the built up areas.

I can't reconize it, but it sure does look like a custom exhaust to me, since it has 2 canisters...I may be wrong though...

The Taitec JGTC center exhaust is the loudest that I personally have heard on an NSX. I can't imagine anyone going to it looking for a "quieter" exhaust.

unless you have the silencer on... I don't have the center exit, but the regular parrellel, guessed they should be about the same, and yes, it's quite loud.... but I'm not complaining...

I think some more photos would help identify the exhaust because I know of a few types that have those canisters...

For example, the first 3 photos are of the Espirt exhaust and the last is the 5zigen exhaust. There are others as well but these 2 have exits around where yours are...

However, djskyy could be right as well... Those canisters can be bought seperately and a custom exhaust fabricated.

So send some more photos esp. from underneath the car and we may be able to identify it...

Your exaust looks very similar to mine : Taitec JGTC Dream 28

If this is the exaust you have, yes, it is VERY loud, probably one of the loudest NSX exaust offered for sale in the US.

This exaust has been discontinued for some time now, and there are no "silencers" for sale in the market, you have to make your own :biggrin:

PJ is correct. Dream 28. Very loud. Very light. Almost anything else will be less noisy.
