Yes I was thinking that too since it did have a phone when I purchased it.. I traced the connection and the smaller grey side in the engine compartment all the way up to the defroster .. Wth.. I wanted to get rid of wires not used including the cd disc changer cable but this one got me stumped..

could the defroster upper mid section be used as an antenna for the phone?

Im thinking u are correct bout the antenna. I just dont think its the defroster. Connector look more like for phone or cd changer type.

Thanks for your input it does make sense now since I dont see any other thing it could be.. never seen a factory wiring like this just used for a defroster.. can't believe how much aftermarket/factory option this thing was crammed with..
