Wheel bearing noise?

Recently a noise has developed on the passenger rear wheel when I hit 30-50 mph. Before and After that It seems to be non existent. It has a whirring sound that's why I think it might be a wheel bearing. Any way to be sure? Also, would an alignment issue cause this noise- because I think my car badly needs one.

Find an empty road, and travel at a speed that allows you to hear the noise. While driving turn the steering wheel left and right. If the pitch of the noise changes, more than likely, it is the bearing.

Bearing failures are somewhat common as these cars are aging.

An alignment issue shouldn't cause this issue, but it could be tire roar if the alignment is bad enough. I would get a proper alignment, and then see if the noise has changed.

Once the wheel bearing goes really bad, you will here loud grinding noise and your fuel consumption will increase due to increase friction. I had mine replace a long time ago. Cause was too much negative offset on the rear wheels +12 for 19x10.5 when I had the widebody.
