Wheel Spacer question, front vs rear??

I just picked up some 15mm spacers with the integrated studs. Love them. I had 25mm ones but they stuck out a bit much for me. Anyway, my question is concerning front vs rear spacers. I never noticed any differentiation between one or the other. Am I foolishly mistaken? I ask because I’m about to put my 25mm ones up for sale but for the first time I’m seeing items with a front and rear designation. Any input on that? I also don’t see a designation on the part (they are H&R spacers). I’m actually mildly concerned the 25’s on my rears are not correct (of course I’ve been driving on them for a couple months with no issue).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

as always search is your friend.

but the front part number is 5065700 with 70.1 mm bore
and rear is 5065640 with 64.1 mm bore

They do. I had checked there for PN's but they don't show the two numbers. Is that what you were thinking?

Thankfully the prior reply gives the PN. I may actually have the wrong PN's on the Rear now. I'll check when I get home.

I'm actually in the market for some H/R rear spacers (20-25mm) so if these are for the rear, let me know!

You said they stuck out a bit, were you using aftermarket or stock rims?

I was going to use these on either stock NA2 rims or perhaps my 18x9.5, +63 rear rims.

thanks

Well, I'm 90% sure I'm ok. The part number I took off the front is the 5700 (thanks for that link, I did try to find that earlier) so I know that they are front spacers. That makes selling them simple. The 15mm's I put on in there place don't seem to have a part number but the person who sold them too me ensured me they were fronts (they went on pretty easy but were quite clearly snug). Lastly is the 25's I have on the rear. They were very tight to get on so I'm assuming that they are correct. I find it hard to believe the 64.1 bore spacer could get mashed on to the 70.1 rears. I do remember specifically having them bottom out against the wheel face place so I'm pretty confident there is no space (I suppose there is a slim chance I mashed either the spacer or the wheel bore but I'm thinking I'm good.

Thanks all for your help. I'll put the 25mm Front Spacers on the market formums.

In response to the sticking out comment: I have a 1992 with 1994 stock wheels. I feel the 15 front, 25 back is perfectly balanced. I really felt the 25 fronts stuck out just a bit too much (odd since you would think going out an equivalent distance on both would make the most sense).

ya, I went from 25 front 25 rear to 15 front 25 rear. I used H&R in the front with the extended lugs in place of the factory ones.
