When did OBDII started for NSX's?

When did OBDII started for NSX's? Are these systems very annoying and trigger CEL lights just from light mods such as intake and exhast?

Can't be true for all markets - mine is '98 and not OBD II - on this side of the pond it began in 2001 AFAIK.

1995 NSX's (in the USA) are fully compliant to OBD-2 standards.
