Who can help me find a transmission in Japan?

Hey Prime, I want to convert auto to manual, and although you can find transmissions in the states, I would rather one from Japan to save getting the close ratio gearset.
5 speed or 6 speed is find, just let me know where to look.

Keep an eye on Yahoo Japan auctions - saw an NA1R box go recently for less than $1500 AUD.

I'd also look at that conversion kit that whrdnsx is selling if its still available.

This ^^ not sure if short gears though ? To be honest I've had both and subjectively can't tell much difference .

I'm Sure it includes a box? just no clutch as most people have different preferences .

Edit , MMmm you are right there is no box ? Must be rare ATM
