I am getting very frustrated with the fuel cut problem. Someone please point this out for me. Everything works fine up to 5K RPM then fuel cuts out at 5500 RPM then it wouldn't let me rev any higher.
Thanks in advance

Your MAP sensor might be sensing boost, try getting one of those bypass valves or SMARTMap.

If not check your fuel mixture, maybe your AIC might be tuned too rich up in that 5k area.

The VC2 voltage clamp by SplitSecond can be set to 2.81 Volts, that's what mine is at and for that category of stock ECU faking it seems to work pretty well.

Is your check engine light on? If so, that will sometimes cause the ECU limp home mode to be activated, in which case the max RPM is about 4000 RPM.

The SmartMAP clamp voltage is preset to 2.75 -0/+0.15V (2.75 to 2.90V).

Bryan,
Thanks for the email on the BB smart map box. But we finally figured that the box is not working. The engine light poped, and we found the code (map sensor reading too high value). Reset it and used the check valve trick, works like a charm.
Well, the engine didn't get fuel cut but it hesitated to rev higher due to too much back pressure on the heat side of the turbo... will have to get bigger turbo now...

Thanks everyone.
