Will a Mugen/Spoon radiator cap fit the NSX?

What do you mean by the correct one? Mugen only offers ONE radiator cap (Part # - 19045-XGER-0000). Whereas Spoon caps are rated Type D & F, one is for the EFs the other for DCs and EGs.

Can anyone say for certain whether these caps will or will not fit? TIA

CORRECTION! I remembered wrong, the one made by spoon for S2000 fits the NSX, Mugen does not make one that fits AFAIK. Mugen does make a thermostat that fits the NSX, again, same one as the S2000.

The Mugen radiator cap for the S2000 does not fit the NSX. I know this for certain since I own both cars and I have tried to interchange them.

Sorry, I did not realize the AP1 shared the same radiator cap as the EK, EG and DC2 (among others). I erroneously did not check to see what part number the S2000 was prior to my post.

But this does bring up an interesting point: from MaomaoNSX's post he mentions the S2000 ones would fit the NSX, however you say you cannot switch the Mugen radiator cap from the S2000 to the NSX, but the S2000 radiator cap part number from Mugen is the same as the one for all the others...

There is some discrepency in the information here because how can the Spoon radiator cap for the S2000 be interchanged with the NSX while the Mugen one cannot? The same replacement part for the same car should fit...

For what it's worth, at www.spoon.jp, it looks like their radiator cap part number ALL-19045-001 (type F) does look awfully similar to the one in the NSX.

Hey George...

The Spoon Rad Cap DOES fit on the NSX. Also, the Mugen Thermostat and oil cap also fit the NSX without any issues... I have them all installed on my NSX.
