Wireless Gauge substitute?

I have a 92' going with AEM EMS for my Angus turbo system. Have any of you used something like this instead of installing gauges? How well does it work?

Thats a pretty neat idea. I personally would rather have my gauges permanently installed in the car to give me the readings, rather than having the wifi box relay the information to the smartphone to display the information. I don't know if the wifi signal would have any affect on delay, but wouldn't want to take any chances with AFR in that regard... If the gauges are hardwired to the car, you know you're getting the most "realtime" reading possible, rather than having to rely on a wifi box to send the signal out to your phone.
