Xbox 360

Alright, I'm addicted to xbox 360 because during school this semester all my residents on the floor played. They played call of duty and some other games I can't remember but we were all big into Halo 3.

Well I'm no longer at school of course but still want to play so I'm looking to buy a cheap xbox 360.

Just a few general questions
1. Does it matter what model I get? Elite, Pro, Arcade? All I want to do is play some Online Halo 3.

2. What's a modded xbox? Someone was selling one but they said it was banned from live?

3. What's this talk about the red ring of death?

Thanks a bunch in advance. I might not buy one because my girl might break up with me if I do so I'll have to ask her or persuade her that since I work in mornings now I have nothing to do at night, haha.

Never mind.

I found all my answers. I ended up buying a used one so I hope everything will work out fine.

If anyone plays Halo 3 online and wants to join up sometime let me know. I'm starting my own account today but I've played for a few months so I'm not that bad, haha.
