So i went to the tire shop and we put the rears on... thinking i might need to scrap some off my caliper... seems as if its impossible

came to the conclusion im going to need to extended studs which i already got from ARP, and a spacer

they had a 15mm spacer on there and it flared out like no other... i was thinking maybe a 10mm?

i was wondering if anyone could show me a 10mm spacer and 15mm

ALSO i just ordered some coilovers to lower this sucker so that the wheels actually flush in and go with the car.

my rear offsets are 18x10 +38

38 offset with a 15mm spacer = 23

No way that is going to work. A 10mm spacer will make a very slight difference. Your offsets seem pretty spot on, I don't understand why the rim would rub your caliper.

What wheels do you have? Pictures of the problem?

Ok, I'm assuming your have the Work XD9's? I was thinking something else when I saw XD9....a Springfield. Which is a mod I have in my NSX.

yeah i have the xd9s... and it will not work at all without a spacer. unless i want no brakes =P

VVS has the xd9s with the 15mm spacer on the rear... he looked fine but i think 10mm would be a better choice for me.

Easy, measure the distance needed between the part of the wheel that is rubbing the brakes. If 10mm works, then try that. I strongly suggest using quality spacers that are hubcentric!

ill be trying a 8mm spacer. ill let u know how it goes.. that'll make me at +30

If I am not mistaken, a prime member "DEYLO" has the XD9s and the fitment looks excellent IMO. You may want to PM him to see what he used. Check out his Gallery to see what I am referring to.

i got a 5/16 spacer which is 7.9mm and i tried it on! and guess what  you know it! clears caliper and its really really flush... cant wait to show pics of it ;] and lowered

Good to know, I have a 10mm on backorder (kics project spacers). The 15mm are a bit much.

Lets see some pics.
