Xjr???

Sorry this one is a bit off topic.
One of my good friends is very close to buying a 2002 XJR 100. Mostly due to the fact that I talked him out of a Town Car. He test drove the XJR and liked it. Are there any major reasons to avoid the XJR? Informed comment is welcomed.

That seems like sound advice and I did take a look.
But I could argue that it’s a bit like asking Prime members “Should one buy an NSX?”. I was looking for less bias opinions. We drove the Merc S class and the BMW 7 and they were nice. A lot better than the Town Car which is a boat. But we both really liked the Jag overall. I’m not even sure why. Just the overall feel of the interior and the look of the exterior I think. And the ride is quite nice. I just wanted to know if anyone had heard of any horror stories in terms of overall cost of ownership.

Ps I don’t think I could talk him into an NSX. He is a big car kinda guy although he does have a DeLorean with remote door locks and launchers but that’s mostly for poser value and because he is a wanabe Irishman.
