My two front Yokohama AO22 are wearing out faster on the inside vs the outside of the tire. I know that they are directional but can I flip the tire over so now the inner is now the outer?

You can do that, but you will lose the extra handling precision that the asymmetrical construction is designed to provide.

You may also want to check the date of manufacture of those tires. The Tire Rack recommends replacing tires after 6-10 years regardless of how much tread is remaining, and the Yoko A022 has been discontinued for a while. If they're older than that, and especially if they have any cracking, it's time.
