With the increased sale of Zanardi floor mats on prime, it has me wondering... why are people buying used Zanardi mats for $115+ all day long when you can get the OEM part, brand new, from Acura of Peoria for $78?

Hell, I got mine, shipped from Arizona to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada... for less than $100. Am I missing something here? Or are used goods more valuable? LOL

it doesnt make sense... on the other hand ive never been attracted to the zanardi mats, since ive seen so many trashed or ghetto nsx's using those mats...they all stay in my head lol

I only bought a set to use for car shows cause it goes with my black/red interior... that said, I haven't really seen any trashed or ghetto NSX's rocking them so it doesn't bother me.

The only reason I can think of is that people don't know any better and assume they aren't available from the dealers. I know that when I was searching for trunk mats, I found out they had been discontinued (luckily SOS had them) so I assumed the floor mats would be too. I'm surprised the floor mats are still being sold as I was told that most accessory items for the NSX have been discontinued.

my car came with 2 sets of Zanardi. One I keep for show, the other when it gets beat up will get replaced with something different...It is good to know that the dealership still has the OEM ones, maybe I should stock up in case they decide to do away with those.

Or just save up and get ready for 2014.

LoL maybe I can afford the floor mats from the new car, but probably not the new car. Think they will fit...

I ordered the OEM set from Acura Peoria only to get a note from Tim that the black OEM mats have been discontinued.

I should have clarified, the OEM all black mats have been discontinued, but the OEM Zanardi mats are available for $78

I noticded the exact same thing. I usually check ebay for OEM parts and a lot of time they are cheaper than some of the used parts listed here.

Similar to the NSX-R floor mats which are even more expensive!

Anyone got photos of the Zanardi mats? Interested to see what's different about them.

All that money snd nit even a drivers heel pad lol

If I had a used set of LHD mats, I could replicate the Zanardi ones. they don't look anything out of the ordinary.

The NSX-R mats however use a very coarse fibre when bound up.

You made these? ^ they look really nice

Sorry worded that wrong, don't mean I made them by hand myself in the garage lol. My brother owns a rug store so I took the OEM mats we have here to get the correct shape, then styled the rest to look similar to the OEM mats we have, and added the heel pad and leather binding etc. We can do pretty much any logo or color combo etc, but I always think less is more in the NSX, so I just kept it simple.

The Zanardi mats could be easily replicated too.

yep, I almost fell into this trap recently as well. Glad I looked at some online dealer sites. Under 100$ shipped for a brand new set :)

The same seems to be happening with NSXClear corners... I got mine for $160 shipped to my door...
