Thanks for the input. I'll try raising the ride height. I don't really know of they added any spring preload or not. They are very bouncy if the shocks are not set to the hardest setting.
My car came with Tein Flex coils installed and the ride is terrible. I have read enough to know these coilovers are not great. I also believe the car is too low because the weight transfer just feels "weird" to me when I corner aggressively. Maybe I'm wrong there? The handling sucks compared to...
You'll get a CEL on OBD2 without cats. Not sure if you will still get it with the HFC but you could probably fix that with an O2 spacer (correct me if I'm wrong about this on the NSX). I have been running the pride HFC for almost a year, no complaints. Test pipes have more flow, but unless...
I've been through a lot of cars and while the new M3, C63, etc are quick they will never have the status of something like an NSX. They are powered-up entry-level luxury cars and they will always be outdated and significantly less desirable as soon as the next generation comes out. Same reason...
Yeah.. I need to get my fuel pump changed and need someone to take a look over the whole car. Looks like I have some leaky valve cover gaskets and/or oil pan gasket, might need a valve adjustment, and my AC isn't working all that great lately. Might as well make the trip.
I live down in Woodbridge and the most recommended techs are up in MD... Is there anyone a little closer? I took my 911 turbo to convenience auto care in Mannassas but it was incredibly expensive and the work wasn't perfect.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend something maybe out in Manassas...
I just ordered the walbro 255 kit from SOS. How many hours of labor should I expect if I take this to a dealer or local shop? I don't have nearly enough room to do this install at home.
I shorted the resistor connector and the car ran perfectly. Guess my fuel pump isn't running right on the lower setting. Considering I haven't ever had any problems starting the car or having it cut out on me, I assume the relay is probably good. Maybe if I get some extra time I'll take it out...
Actually my car only has 52k miles on it but it is a '91 :(. I haven't tried bypassing the resistor yet to see what happens. I was running the test with an annoying harbor freight gauge, but I'll be getting a B&M gauge in tomorrow to mount to the fuel filter. I'll do the resistor test then and...
