Ariel Atom

Met with Mr. Woolery (fellow miata.netter) last weekend, and had a great time at his house. Got considerable seat time in his Ariel Atom (http://www.arielatom.com/ ) as a passenger.

The experience was incredible. I have been a long time motorcycle rider, and this came close to that experience. Makes the Elise feel like a LS460. Car had incredible acceleration, and VERY flat cornering. Sound was very good as well.

The build quality was definitely there. THe seats were comfortable and for some of us here, it would make a great daily driver (unless you owned a T REX or a CARVER).

Thanks for the great experience Mr. Woolery, the pleasure was all mine.
I believe on his car, he can easily switch things out to make it RHD and LHD, very cool.

The 3 hour round trip to his house was definitely worth it.

Awesome! I've loved that car ever since it appeared on Top Gear. I also am curious to check out the Wrightspeed electric version of the Atom.

The all black gives it a more sleeper look. If it can be a sleeper at all. And I had an idea of what a carver was but I wasn't positive. So to satisfy my curiosity i found it in action. I'd still prefer the Ariel atom. Thanks for the pics.
