OEM Front [footwell] amplifier - query

In searching for what I suspected to be failing capacitors in the OEM audio I removed the front [footwell] enclosure and split it to access the pcb. Whilst I thought that the unit was unmolested, the internal wiring is jumped with 2 pink 'scotch lock' connectors.
Is this standard?
If the wiring is non-standard, where should the two jumped leads go?
The attached thumbnail shows the 2 jumper connections and the other leads and their colours.
The car is a euro [UK] 1995 manual coupe.
Thanks in advance,
Duncan
P.S the speaker is US made, fitted to a Japanese car AND the set screw heads are imperial [4BA], the later I find comforting.

it is not standard. looks like someone was returning the car to stock.

after cutting it to do an aftermarket job.

some of these Audio shop techs sure have a crazy way of thinking when it comes to audio setup and the CORRECT WAY to do something

thats why I do all my own audio

sorry I took it the wrong way LOL

though you were being a smart azz. LOL
