Gday Guys

As this is my first post on Prime, I'd thought I would introduce myself.
I currently work as a Graphic Designer in Melbourne Australia, and have been a big fan of the NSX for many years.
I currently drive a 3000GT, but I'm hoping to upgrade to a sexy Black NSX (I've already picked out my colour!!) within the next year or two.

Anyway....talk to everbody soon and congratulations to everyone involved in making Prime the best car forum on the net. Well Done!!

Thanks
John

And for those who are interested, here is a pic of my current car!!!

Welcome Aboard!

I was just in Melbourne capital of NSX's in OZ...

I'll be purchasing my NSX in the next few months..

btw, my brother had a brand new 94' 3000GT update model locally delivered... those were the days...

Welcome, and sweet ride! I used to have a Stealth; I miss that car. I didn't know they imported the 3000gt into Australia, it must've been expensive!

Thanks for the welcome everybody
Good to see other NSX (and 3000GT) lovers out there!!!

PHOEN$X:My 3000GT had been personally imported into Australia by the previous owner...........so it really didn't turn out to be that expensive. To give you an idea, I could buy 2 or 3 3000GT's, for the price of 1 NSX!!!!

Wow, so the 3000gt/Stealth was never directly sold there? There was a thread earlier about how NSXs are much more expensive there, so I'm not surprised by your last comment.

Do you have a link to your page at cardomain? I'd like to check out more pics of your ride. :)

Other than the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car :p, I love your 3000gt! ;) "Black Beauty" eh? That's what I called my car (the Mustang) when I had a cardomain page ages ago.. Great minds think alike!

Hi - and nice car!

Well, I'll put my hand up too!

I am in Sydney and have been a fan of the NSX for some time now. You may have guessed from my nick that I drive a Subaru SVX.

Unfortunately, the skyrocketing house prices in Sydney mean that an NSX will have to take a back seat for a while until we decide if we stay or go to Europe.

There are some bargains, and some dreamers, in used NSX's here at the moment.

If there's anyone from Sydney, would be great to hear from you

Cheers

James

Hi James
I lived in Sydney for a few months in 2001.......so I know what you mean regarding the cost of property (thats why I moved back to Melbourne). But hang in there, because i think owning an NSX will be worth the wait!!!

jam- mate its Nico from DTM...
I'm selling the M3 for an NSX soon..

Cosentino, I think the only people driving around in F-cars and NSX's in Sydney are the ones who have sold property up here!:D

Hey Nico - how are things?? Migrating from the M3  I won't mention it in DTM!

Have you had any success finding one - there have been some real bargains in the past two months (latish models, good k's for around $75,000) - from memory there was some on carsales.com and carpoint.com.au

There was also a yellow one with 100,000+ k's, modified and with plates 'LUST' but the asking price (about $80K) seems too high when compared with the others for sale. Not sure also if the 'snap-ring' problem affected the Australian delivered cars.
