Hi folks. Thought I'd post and say hello. I live in Northville, right across the street from the high school and just a dash from CJ's. I'm going to have to make some of these events on Wednesday, which, unfortunately, is the same night as one of my bowling leagues, so I'll have to squeeze them in.
Current ride is a pretty clean 1st Gen Rx-7. The rotary has been tweaked quite a bit, primarily with an old school turbo kit to increase hp quite a bit. The suspension has a number mods too... and Brian, including a new right rear wheel bearing.
I've first had the opportunity to meet Brian and Judi at the Eyes On Design show back in June, where I was showing the 7, and became bitten by the NSX bug. To this point the virus has become not only stronger, but has transmitted to my daughter, who is my car event co-pilot.
The last few weeks have been spent putting the 7 up for sale. I thought it was sold, but a buyer backed out. It probably goes back to ebay tonite. Also looking at a few NSXs, but got caught up in the collapsed 7 sale as well as dealing with a few health issues of my mother; during that time, my electronic list of potential cars got shorter as some of the cars of my interest were sold.
Hopefully, if Mother Nature cooperates, I hope to see some of you at Baker's this weekend. I had not been there at all until this year; stopped by twice, each for about an hour, and it's quite a scene on Sundays!
P.S. Had the pleasure of meeting some of you during a Sunday am ride, and Neal was kind enough to let my daughter ride in his beautiful gold 05, while I was flabbergasted when Brian handed me the red NSX. It was a joy to ride with you all!
