Pics from C&C NSX Marque event

Hello to all who attended the awesome NSX day at the January 31, 2009 Irvine Cars & Coffee. I appreciate the thanks sent by many of you. I organized and coordinated this event because I enjoyed doing so. It doesn't feel like work when you get so much satisfaction from something. So, it was genuinely my pleasure. I intend to be part of planning and coordinating many other NSX activities.

Unofficially, we had 99 NSXs participate. While breaking the century mark does represent a cool round number, we accomplished one for the record books- a notable worldwide gathering of NSXs.

Note: I was just informed by a coworker who attended that 2-3 or more NSXs were parked in the spectator lot. So, counting even one more car that was "there" put us over the century mark. Eh, we win no prize, just some bragging rights for a 3-digit turnout.

The weather couldn't have been any better. Cars were lined-up on Gateway Blvd. all the way to Alton Parkway way before sunrise. This had the making of and was one of the best attended C&C events since it moved to Irvine at the PAG (Premier Auto Group or Ford divisional headquarters) about 2 years ago.

John aka "scorp965" posted some very nice photos. Someone with a particularly keen eye for taking pics of cars is FuryNSX. Attached are 24 of the 130 pictures I shot that day. My intent was to capture the action that day which included the cars and people who own them. Just wish I knew more names. Guess I'll just have to keep on doing things like this and attending more NSX Prime events, which I will of course. Enjoy!
