In the UK the price of a replacement wheel and tyre after purchase tax is some 3,000 USD further, the supply of replacement folding tyres is denied to the retail market.

This particular wheel and tyre combination when modified will replace the OEM 15' rim [cars to 1997].
Other Mercedes wheel and tyre combinations are based on a 17'' rim so may be suitable for bigger braked cars, for these the tyre will not fit in the nose.
I'm happy that what I have done is safe for me, any similar adaption is at your own risk.
