Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

i dont like the sound of a blowoff valve on a turbo car, is it possible to order the kit without the BOV? and can it be installed without the BOV?

can we get some videos of the nsx with ur kit?

Sorry I missed your post! The location I have the blowoff valve really muffles the sound so you can't really hear it. It isn't on top and near your head by the throttle body but down low in the fender. I always recommend a BOV. I use Tial blow-off valves which are not annoyingly loud so it might be right for you. Something like the HKS blowoff valve makes that crazy sound soo many people love.

I personally don't like it loud... Keldon1 can vouch and say it's quiet and more like a sleeper....

Thanks Keldon1 for the kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. It puts a big smile on my face every time I drive it. It was cool that we got a thumbs up by that Lifted Nissan Truck... but not cool that the white Mercedes was driving towards us going the wrong way!

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

Brain thanks for the ride!

416whp is a lot! for the streets....sounds like a jet fighter at WOT, in a really good way!

Also people don't see how clean the kit is, install and stock appearance from top to bottom.

The intercooler is well hidden even with your 02 valence, love the idea of the stock air box. Also the piping is simple and very breathable, with not having to cut any part of the car.

Man I wish I had a money tree :frown:

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

I've always loved the sleeper look and its nice to have if a cop happens to pull me over and see I have a stock looking engine!

You do have a money tree! It's sitting on your engine where your intake manifold used to be!

Can I have a 'detuned' version for my A/T NSX ?

hehe, actually you just need to put a 3lbs spring in the wastegate to lower the boost and run a AEM FIC!

Yeah thats what i need and it will be soon! I wish i had it today:mad: This freaken 430 Ferrari tried to show off to me. What gayness after i get my prostreet turbo ill show him whos boss!

I had a Lambo Murcielago do a Honda fly by on my when I was NA! It was really annoying! I might not still be able to beat him today but I now I feel I can give some of the modern day supercars (gallardo/f430/911) a run for their money... hypothetically speaking of course

looks like a quality kit maybe Ill be the first in Alberta to get one

Hit me up when you are ready. You will be the first in Canada!

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

I want to offer a new product that really compliments our turbo kit or any turbo kit out there really. I wanted to keep with the theme of being low profile with my turbo kit so I didn't want to get a bunch of gauges that screamed "Hey look at me i'm turbocharged!" I came across this nice monitor that offered a variety of displays all in one unit! I'll post a video soon.

PM me for pricing and info.

ARK DESIGN MFD (Multi Function Dash)

This compact display does an excellent job of allowing me to monitor up to 10 different vital displays : Boost/Vacuum, Water Temperature, RPM, Vehicle Speed, Throttle Position, Injector Duty Cycle, O2 A/F Signal, Secondary Water Temperature, Oil Temperature, and Oil Pressure.

"Peak hold and warning functions are available for all 10 vehicle vitals. The warning function provides an audible and/or visual notification when a user defined level is reached. The MFD’s 2.4’’ widescreen color TFT display offers outstanding clarity in all lighting conditions. Six different display options are available where one, two, four or even eight vehicle vitals can be viewed at a single time. Users can choose from a traditional analog meter view or a digital bar graph display. The versatility of the MFD’s display is not limited to just what the screen displays, but also how a user prefers the control panel positioned. The MFD has the unique ability where its display can be rotated 180 degrees, so a user can choose to have the controls on the right or left of the screen." from their website.

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

Hi Brian,

As you already know, i bought your turbo kit with an "upgrade" to garrett gt35r turbo. Which size (0.63, 0.82 or 1.06?) of turbine housing works best with your turbo kit?

Am I correct to assume that your kit comes with at T3 4 bolt 3" exhaust housing?

Re: Prospeed NSX Turbo Kit!

Thanks Dhalsim! It was nice meeting you too. Glad you like the kit and the car!

UPDATE
We would like to offer the AEM Meth/Water Injection kit. We will be offering the proper brackets and mounts to make this a bolt on kit for the NSX. The kit works seamlessly with the AEM EMS to provide the proper protection when the meth/water runs out it will switch the program back to a safer ignition and fuel settings.

PM me for prices and details. Thanks.

Which model of AEM methanol injection kit are you selling?

This kit does not come with installation manual and it requires 1995 or later rear sway bar.

Moderator please dont delete this post. This is a review of the product. Dont be too protective of the seller.

I am the first paying buyer of this product and i think everyone here wants to know what i think of this product.

I can't comment on the quality of the product because i am unable to install it untill the seller gives me the installation manual. He has been MIA for 2 weeks now.

I have just installed this turbo kit on my nsx.

The fitment is far from perfect. I paid for a 1991 header but the vendor gave me a 1995 header with comptech adapter pipes. Guess what, the adapter pipes cause fitment issues which leads to a leaking exhaust!!

I will get the exhaust fixed and keep you guys updated.

The exhaust leak has been resolved by extending the adapter pipe. No leak so far. Will dyno and keep you guys posted.

What is the sizing (or whatever relevant technical specification) of the T40S turbo used in this kit?

Is yours the first and only kit?

As far as I know yes. At the rate he is going with his delivery time and after sales service and support (he admitted that he deliberately chose not to provide support to me with the installation and tuning), it is very likely to be the last kit that the vendor ever sells.

He did not even bother to answer my question regarding the turbo specification above.

I delayed all production of the turbo kit months ago since having issues with my previous fabricator. I am currently working with a new fabricator to make sure there are no delays. I will be working on having at least 1 kit on the shelf and boxed up so turn around time is quick and the customer gets the kit right away. Thanks again for all the supporters out there!

So are you finally going to get my GT35R flange done? Are you going to send me the oil catch tank too?

You stole my idea! (just kidding :))

It's probably not an original idea, but I was going to do just that with the stock airbox over the charge pipe on my personal street car. Very well executed Prospeed.
