Let's see your side skirts

I think I'm not a fan of sideskirts at all unless they're combined with a more aggressive front lip and the CF rear spoiler (or some other rear)

I think the cars that combine the R style rear, something like the WW front, and then Stacy sides end up the cleanest.

If one of those is missing, for me, things start to look a bit unbalanced visually. Like the type R tail on a pre 02 without a more aggressive skirt looks unbalanced to the rear to me, but the more aggressive skirt without something going on with the rear spoiler starts to make the side of the car look too bulky to me.

Good thing all of these parts are (fairly) easily removable ;)

Are those dymags?

No way, I have those exact same rims but silver and they don't look anywhere near as good as yours in black. Looks kinda cool coated in brake dust lol. I actually contemplated maybe a slightly brown, yellow, black look to the barrels themselves after looking at the pics just now when I do mine in black.

Keep em dirty! They look great! lol

Stacy's side skirts modified to be more flush to the body. Below are three different pics. I hope this helps with your decision

Looking great Mike. I really miss my Advan Model 5's now after seen your car again. Stacey's skirts are the way to go IMHO. I know I'll be picking up a set.

who makes this side skirt? and where can i get it or the replica version? lol

so did that yellow nsx have to cut the oem na2 skirts to piece it together with that side cowl flare?

that pretty interesting concept:smile:

No cutting of the OEM sideskirt is required. Flare just attaches over it.

Where did u get those na2 front bumper for na1 without doing the headlight conversion? Dude it looks sweet. Wonder if i can pick one up.

Mode4 has a similar bumper and they're located in your area. Search Mode4.

TCRC skirts from downforce. Good to note that the bottom side has a layer of carbon fiber, I guess to strenghten it since it is very low. There are also mounting points on the sides like the OEM skirts for easier installation and less drilling.

God I need a new picture and a wing.. lol..

Look excellent! Can you take a picture of the CF on the underside.. I'm curious. The photos Downforce has on their website suck. (I always wonder why companies have horrible photos when it's the IMAGE that sells...)

Also, I'm curious on why Downforce says these are for 1991-2001. As far as I know, wouldn't the sideskirt mounting points and specifications for aftermarket be the same for 1991-2005?

Next to the 02+ OEM Side skirts, Stacy's SS is probably the best look. Don't get any of the West Wings stuff. It doesnt line up or fit on the NSX. I had a set that were so far off it was ridiculous

The problem is that on '02-up cars they have an OEM door piece that cannot be removed since there are large holes underneath.

This door piece will not work with the TCRC skirts.

That's a good point, I completely forgot about that!

HIJACKER:
I'm sorry but I don't have a picture of the underside nor would I be able to take pictures because the shop painted the whole skirt. And besides, I don't recall the CF layer being a show friendly sight.

Mike, I love your ride. Any tips on how to get the Stacy's sides to sit more flush towards the rears like yours? I'd like mine to look similar to yours, but on my black NSX...

Mike's skirts were modified to sit the way they do. Unfortunately, there are no simple adjustments that can be done to get them to sit flush.
