Looking for ideas on a 17/18 wheel set that will clear Stoptech calipers and is available in bronze.

Moreover, any pictures on a black NA1 would be even better.

This is by far the best wheel I know of for the dollar. Flow formed, light, super concave, clears all BBK's, is under $1000/set. Look no further. Buy them, have them refinished to any color bronze, you are into it for $1200-1300, with perfect offsets and any color you desire. Plus.... You have something no one else has, a custom item, not generic off the shelf. Wrap them in the new Dunlop Star Spec II, you will have an amazing wheel tire combo.

Oh and to add: these will probably cost you around $1600-1700 refinished and shipped to your door. If you have a healthier budget, like say $2500, then I personally would go with the special GT Theory is offering on BC racing monoblocks. Those are forged wheels not flow formed so they are stronger, lighter, and because they are custom made to the NSX, you get a hubcentric wheel with exact bore, so no need for spacers, and you can choose your exact offset. You can get a perfect fitting wheel. Forged like OEM. and they have some nice styles in bronze.

Thanks for the info and pics Turbo. Could you tell me the model of the wheel in your picture? Also, really digging that last pic you added, but is that a center locking wheel?

Definitely would prefer to go with forged. I had silver TE37's, but sold those a few years back after picking up the OEM 02+ set. I know the Volk CE28's are available in bronze. Digging the Advan RS, but gold is just a bit too flashy. Not sure if I like the stagger on the RZ. Wish Advan would just use their RZ paint on the RS. Bronze has a great contrast on black without being too blingy for my taste.

Any others?

That's the RS43. It is forged. See these are custom so even a volk is not cut to the correct bore on an NSX. These are. And you can choose finish, and whatever offset you need. For $2500.... TOTAL bargain. As much as I like Volk, I am not a huge CE28 fan. The spokes do not extend to the edge of the lip, and unless you go 18/19 it will look small. Advans are much more stylish with thinner extended spokes, but they are not forged. The BC's are an even better fit than the Volks at the Advan price.

This is the best you can make a CE28 look with lowering, big brakes, touched up photography, etc. It's still convex in shape. Like a bowl... to me eye, out of style. You want a concave look not a convex look.

Not to mention so many people have CE28's and you will be the first NSX with gold RS43's

Many people have CE28's for a reason: they are good looking, record breaking light weight, and strong.
But i have to agree on the BC Forged choice, and with the latest 17+18 special price they are a no brainer. Just pick the model you prefer visually, personally i'd go for the RS42 in gunmetal, for bronze multi spoke looks better so RS43 indeed...

Get one no has gotten before. I too love the RS41 in concave. Note that the 41 is the most "open" design and will really show off brakes... If you have them. RS41 was my choice before I decided to go custom. I really like all the BC monoblocks except the 42, it just is too generic for me. Just try to get the most concave possible. It'll look great IMO.

RYU, are those 17/18? (Look bigger)

Also should mention I don't want the offsets to be so far out to clear the Stoptech calipers that rubbing could be an issue on track. Spacers are out of the picture, too.

I'm running Advan RS bronze in 17/18 specifically for Stoptechs ....image.jpg
