I went to the track this weekend and got some new times with the HP kit.
My best ET was 10.39 and my best trap speed was 140.6 mph. Here are the slips.

Those are awesome times! 1.5 60ft is inspiring. It shows the tranny and axles can take a lot more abuse then people have been led to believe(not to mention the motor). Good stuff, keep it coming.

Were the runs still using ET streets? Time to update that sig!

I would have to say that his car is more of the exception than the rule. In fact it's quite mind boggling.

Agreed, but until now, it seemed impossible. I wouldn't recommend that kind of power on a stock motor to anyone, but it does show if you are willing to roll the dice, there is a chance your motor will hold(odds are against it based on the FI history of these motors though).

I didn't think those kind of 60' times were possible.

Wow.

At what MPH would you top out at in a mile (if you had to guess)? The only reason I'm asking is I've seen the Texas Mile threads on 6speed and have seen 996TT's with 140mph traps and forgot what they topped out at in the competition. I do recall the winner being a Supra at over 228mph but that thing was nuts.

this is criminally insane.

edit: There aren't many 600ish rwhp cars that can do low 10 second quarter miles at over 140mph...and those that can are under 3000 lbs.

Yes, seeing these times makes me think this car would need 800 HP to do this. I do not get how this car is so fast. This car is running faster 1/4 mile times than most of todays top supercars. The fact that it has not broken yet is just... I have no words...

That is unreal man. That kind of power on a stock motor alone is unbelieveable but the fact that it's reliable even at that mileage makes it even more mind boggling. Factory freak? ....and here I'm scared to go FI on this motor.

It's just the regular kit with a 67mm ball bearing turbo upgrade. I don't know what stage it would be considered.

Alright, here is the best I can do for now. This video was taken with a still camera. No zoom, just video. Someone should be getting me a video from a real video camera. I'll post it when I get it.
