How many of you will keep your NSX for at least the next 5-7 years?

I've had my NSX longer than my 1st marriage and I will probably keep it for as long as I can drive it.

Come tomorrow (Feb 12th), I will of owned my NSX for 1 full month

The NSX is my do-all, be-all, end-all, realistic dream car, and unless some sort of emergency comes up where I need money, I intend on keeping it forever.

My UNREALISTIC dream car is the Koenigsegg CCX

Shaddup Wingzy (our friendly neighborhood e-pimp). Don't you have another thread to post in *cough, alixp, cough*

Hey brutha gotta make that money .. LOL

I don't think it looks outdated at all. Except the flip up lights which I LOVE  I'll hang onto it forever I think. It's just too cool to get rid of. Even if I get something else I won't lose the X.

+1 one. You took the words right out of my mouth buddy!

I have had my 94 NSX since Dec.8th 1994 till now and still loving it. Some modifications along the years for track purposes. Even if I get something new in the future, I would still keep it.

come August, I will have had my NSX for 8 years.

Outdated? My car still turns heads and people are always amazed when I tell them just how old this car is.

When an F-14 flies by, most people don't know this plane was designed in the early 70's. It still looks like a sleek modern jet, even next to the likes of the F-22 Raptor. Erm....I hope you guys know what I'm talking about:redface:
Forever!!

<>< ~~ 12 Years of Ownership ;) under My belt..... Lifetime forward.... This car is , and will always be, a Classic, in My Heart * (and as I foresee, Worth the Loyalty in the long run! ) . . .

When I graduated college in 1992 I dreamed of one day owning the NSX. Finally two years ago I was able to write a check for the 03. I believe this car will gain in value only after the introduction of the new NSX comes out. I say this with intent only because I just took owner ship of my mothers 1967 corvette stingray which she baught new for $5367.87. It was appraised by state farm for homeowners ins. at $125,ooo+. Something to be said for holding onto a car that is your dream car.

Yeah, forever, unless some thing bad happen to it. Spend way too much time and effort to make it the way I want it, some parts are just too much to replace. And sentimental value is strong, which is not replaceable. Unless I can get my hands on a real Type R, this is a keeper.

Keepin' it for LIFE here.
IMO, the design of the NSX is "Timeless".
Something timeless cannot be outdated.
Just my thought.

I'm keeping mine for as long as im breathing. Now if I can only find time to drive the thing. Only taken her out a couple times since NSXPO:mad: I've looking around for a while to find a 99-01 coupe with a black roof for a bit to keep as a collector:biggrin: Only cars I'll ever own, until the new one drops...then I'll be in real trouble:biggrin:

Anyone planning on being buried in their NSX?
My brother has always said he wants to be buried in his Corvette.

Yeah that's one thing I never understood about people getting antsy for Hondas new sports car. If you have an NSX already what's wrong with a front engine car. I honestly don't plan on selling my NSX and from some of the posts I've read here ownership seems to get better with time.

It's the friggin Mod bug that gets ya:biggrin:

I've had my '93 for 13 years and plan to keep it until the day I pass it down to my son or perhaps grandson. I've kept it fresh (for me) with many performance and cosmetic mods over the years... and it still looks fabulous and distinct. I get many of the compliments and looks of astonishments that other have referenced when people find out how old it is and what it is

Umm...to all the 02+ NSX owners - sell sell sell

When the time comes a year or two from now for me to upgrade, I want an 02+ NSX...that can't happen if you all wanny be greedy and keep your car:tongue:

come one now...go F-Car or P-Car...you know you wanna!

I would like to keep her for at least 20 years and then maybe see how much she is worth. Kind of like a retirement plan you can enjoy while you are still young.

Dunno about being buried but how about having my ashes hidden somewhere in the car.

They can have my NSX when they pry it from my cold dead hands...

Any questions?

My wife already told me that if I go before she does, she will have me buried in the NSX. I told I'd rather have her give it someone else in the family.
