Thanks Marc and Jim! Looks like the differences came from A) Rate Class (701 vs 705) and B) Collision Group (17 vs 16) The collision group, as I was told, is evaluated every 3 years, so maybe the 91/92 differences just happens to be at the point.

Don't feel too bad.. two months isn't a very long time to be searching for the perfect car. Once two years approaches, then, maybe, just maybe, you need to adjust your search techniques and/or price. I was told that the most expensive NSX you can buy is a cheap NSX.

Bram, I'm not trolling.. but please understand that many of the e39 guys love their M5s just as much as you (we) love the NSX. From what I've seen, M5Board and Prime are some of the best communities out there for enthusiasts :) But out of respect for this forum, I'm happy to update my avatar!
