Battery draining when parked in 91

I know (guess) you already fixed your issue but I will give my tips from personal experienced anyway, for other that stumbles in here. Don’t leave the key in the ignition, as I did, even turned off. It flattened my battery within two weeks. Afterwards I did a quick check and it drained 160 mA...

    Wiper Blade Replacement

I couldn't find any replacement inserts for my flat blades so I ended up going the route Mack Attack hinted about. 22" and 20" from Denso. The corresponding part nr for the euorpean market is DUR-055L and DUR-050L (550 and 500 metric millimeter) Perfect fit and good looking.

    Wiper Blade Replacement

These were fitted on my car when I got it and I have never changed them, but now is the time... I have no ide what they are or how to get the refill rubber. The rubbers are 21.3” and 19.3”, but I guess they are longer when you buy them and cut them to your length before inserting them in the...

    Rear knuckle cracked on track

Yes that must be the reason, so I went around and checked all joints and hubs all around the car afterwards. I got hold of a used knuckle and as you can see in the picture someone must have wacked the old one multiple times as the thickness of the alu is about the half where it cracked. :-O

    Outer tie rod replacement issue

I don't want to open a dead thread, just add my 2 cents as I hade the same issue last night. A couple of days before starting I sprayed some wd40 and let it soak. Don't know if it helped or not, I guess not because it was a real pita to get the tie rod end of the car. First I tried with a...

Thanks Larry Now I can stop wondering and continue with my life. :-)

Loose end, single cable not connected.

I have been searching high and low but cannot figure out what this cable is for. It's located top right on the front cylinder row, sticks out of a plastic cover that covers this cable and the front O2 sensor cable. I would guess it's for some kind of sensor as it is single wire, the wire is...

    Rear knuckle cracked on track

I have now checked the other side of the car and have come to the conclusion that it is (I think) an improper use of tools when changing a ball joint or the whole knuckle some time before me. My guess is that some one may have used heat to get the joint out, or something like that. All the...

    Rear knuckle cracked on track

The other day I was tracking my -91 and when accelerating out of a left corner the rear right knuckle cracked where the toe link (control arm) is bolted, the toe link was completely lose from the knuckle. This resulted in me fish tailing all over the place, I managed to stay on the track though...
