New NSX Release date Fall 2008

Well, at least according to this article. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story.asp?guid=%7B5C20A909%2D600D%2D4A42%2DA05F%2D354DF52C3A54%7D&industry=Automobiles

    Something I read

I think that having the NSX as a halo car and having it acknowledge as the world's only Japanese supercar payed off mucho in terms of giving the proverbial middle finger to Toyota. Face within the Japanese market you know... Also, You forgot the last line of the quote above. R&D cost will...

    NSX successor price

Not necessarily. The viper is usually compared with the Z06 and that runs about $90k.

Honda annouces intentions for a NSX successor

I think that the NSX successor is a lot closer to release then Honda lets on. Considering the facts 1 Takeo Fukui is a racing enthusiast. In 2003 he stated that he would like to have the next nsx released soon, within the next few years and said that the HSC is a realistic proposal. 2 A few...

NSX at Honda Collection Hall: Post 1

You may get your wish. I was just looking at the post from procar specials in this thread: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44011 When I noticed this comment The NSX-R hoods Spec 1.1 and 1.2 for NA 1 (pushup headlights) will be introduced in 2 months ....and for all the racers...

Things I'd like to see from Honda

Things I'd like to see from Honda 1 I'd love to see Honda develop an inhouse high performance division much like BMW has the M series and MB has AMG. Maybe they could really redefine the "Type R" designation or buy Mugen to offer high performance cars. This would allow an outlet for limited...

Twin turbo NSX for 2004 JGTC

Actually, Takeo Fukui is. I hear that he is a big racing fan, which may explain the development of a new nsx after all these years. I remember him saying that he wouldn't release the new car until they were winning again in F1. If you haven't been following F1, after years of being a mid-pack...

Twin turbo NSX for 2004 JGTC

I thought that JGTC rules only allowed for "stock" items or items only offered by the factory. That's why I thought they started offering that "interesting" looking F1 style air intake on the rear hatch. Somehow, I don't really think that this means Honda is going to offer turbos on their...

    VeilSide Fortune Model NSX

I'm a little undecided if I like this kit. I'm still looking for more pictures of different angles of the car before I make my decision. I agree it looks exotic. However, I also agree with Hondaholic in that I'm a little disappointed that it didn't retain any NSX styling cues. The comptech...

I think you may be thinking of downforce.biz.

    2004 Honda IRL V-8

I remember Honda saying that they would release the new NSX when Honda was winning again in racing. They have made promises in F1 to compete for podiums this year and the WDC the year after....though I think they're being a little optimistic. Winning the Indy500 this year definately sounds...

    Veilside NSX

Just a little blurb about the veilside kit off of their website. "This year VeilSide had one of the largest booths in the show, with a display of 11 cars, 8 models, a full display of wheels, hard tuning parts, and a showcase of accessories. New to this year's VeilSide booth were the...

Remarks by Takeo Fukui, President and CEO, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. -- North American In

I don't think he's referring to performance here. That would mean that the NSX would have to compete against the ultra high end "boutique" supercars which is just unrealistic. No rival exist = hybrid supercar JMO hybrid V8 putting out 600 HP would sure sound nice. hybrid V10....hmmmmm :)
