The clip was attached by the factory with an abs locator tab casted into the part. The tab gets heated and acts like a rivet. The only problem is it doesnt handle vibration well and most nsx will have 1 side missing . Aged abs is really brittle so adding another rivet may spider crack it more...

It doesn't take much to put a piston out of round. Have you thought about using sos forged pistons? I think you could get that one back round again with some taps of a wooden hammer and some careful measuring.

These could be an option also.These are porsche 964rs replica seats in fiberglass.They look like nsx r seats but they dont accommodate an oem style seat belt.

Just get the jersey red pole positions or the cheaper fabric ones and have them reupholstered to look like nsx r trim.Here is a set redone to look like nsx r and its pretty much the same seat. I would rather go with recaro atleast the shells are known to be safe.

I think he just had the logo embroidered on but the fabric is likely ksp original. It doesn't wear well as you can see.

I found these pics online. Their covers and foam don't seem durable but the shell looks pretty good.I think you maybe better off buying pole positions and not have to worry about material issues.
