If you go with Valencia, go for a contrasting color for the brake caliper. Black is the better option as the silver may turn into a gold color if you track it and heat soak the brakes. Red callipers won't look right on a red car because they are a different shade and cannot be matched to...

Point of clarification. The title says "Canadian car" but it's not is it? I understand that it's now physically in Canada but it was originally a US market car judging by the VIN

I was just looking at some of the other results from the same auction today... An '04 Ferrari 360 went for $60K! Laughing at the description for the Ferrari: replaced this, upgraded that... The owner of that car probably spent as much as the NSX is worth over the last 13 years just keeping it...

I see VIN 000001 is now sold at Mecum and for more than I expected as these auctions tend to focus on the muscle car crowd. I was particularly interested in this one as my '03 NSX has the same 001 VIN!... well not exactly. Mine is 800001 - a Canadian market unit.

Now all I have to do is determine what lug nuts to use. Has anyone ever tried aluminum? I used these for a 911 I had as this is what the factory used. I loved how they weighed next to nothing. Had to use a special lubricant so they wouldn't react with the steel lugs.

I get ya, but I have information to support the fact that not all the information on that spreadsheet is correct. For example, of the 6 2001 units sold, 4 were registered in 2001 calendar year. The other two were registered in 2002 and 2004. In 2000, all 3 units were registered in the year...

Thanks but I've seen this information before. It's not accurate. For example, it shows 0 NSX's for models years 2000 and 2001. I know of 3 for 2000 and 6 for 2001 which were sold in Canada (Canadian VINs). There are other discrepancies with other models years too.
