Powertrain OEM NSX Ignition Coil Pack Full Set - Brand New - 95+

SOLD I bought this brand new OEM set of coil packs brand new from a dealer when I was chasing down an ignition problem in my 98 NSX. Turns out my coils were good. WTB: High mileage NA1 coupe - Red/Black OR any mileage Monte Carlo Blue NA2

I'm looking for a high mileage (don't care how high as long as the car is mechanically sound and cosmetically maintained) Red/Black or Red/Tan...

Spotted: Black NA1 with Chrome Wheels Stock Exhaust 41 South at the Loop

Yeah, it had dark tinted windows but I don't know about the Cali tag. For some reason I don't think it did though as I think I would've noticed.

Spotted: Black NA1 with Chrome Wheels Stock Exhaust 41 South at the Loop

Anyone on here? Didn't think so. An enthusiast on this site wouldn't respresent us like that. Cutting in front of a lane of turning traffic who had been waiting multiple cycles and with no signal and then running the light. I hope I don't run into you again.

    Opinions on NSX market values

Don't do it! That guy is trying to take you to the cleaners. Try in the $30k's all day. Lots of NSXs for sale don't have a fresh TB/WP so that's going to be a common theme for buyers. The clutch will definitely need to be replaced. Speakers are common problems, probably not going to slow down...

Dead Shorai battery (now revived) - is it safe to use?

I killed the 1.75lb Shorai in my S2000 when I installed my head unit and was playing around with it. I just charged it back and I don't believe I had any issues after that. Being LiFePo, I don't think it suffers from the same fate as a lead acid battery that sits depleted but you may want to...

    So, I'm getting married (NSX-Related, I promise)

I think he used some sort of saw machine that used copper wire. I can't remember for sure but it was something I had never heard of. Love your rings though, I think the design and the results are amazing!

    So, I'm getting married (NSX-Related, I promise)

Great minds think alike! I had a good friend cut our wedding bands from an NSX rod in 2011. I had considered the melting down and formed into tubing but my research showed that it would require extreme temps and likely would be very expensive with it being in its own batch (which I too realized...

    Opinions on NSX market values

After looking through the last few pages of for sale posts it looks like cars are not selling as quickly as they were last year. Also, just a quick look through the last year or more of ebay threads makes it seem like cars are not selling (unsold) and there are many, many relistings for the...

    Opinions on NSX market values

I definitely think there is an element of new ownership from a generation coming of age who used to dream of these cars. I just don't think that is entirely what is driving the prices up. Then again maybe this is the new normal but I really think we'll see a correction.

Kelly Blue Book Values off 17.6% in 3 months

Not sure but when I was using Hagertys valuation tool the other day they had a little ad quoting me like $1200 annually for my 98. I can only assume maybe they are just expensive for this type of car. I believe I got a quote around $500-600 annually from Grundy sometime last year. - - - Updated...

Kelly Blue Book Values off 17.6% in 3 months

Honestly, they never mentioned any restrictions to me. I already had it covered under low mileage because I rarely drive it. When I do drive it, it is mostly to cars and coffee stuff or other hobby-related events.

Brake assessment for upcoming track day (FI NSX)

Just to update this thread (a bit late I guess) I did one track day (novice class w/ instructor) in the NSX with the Carbotechs. I never removed the brake dust shields. Brakes held up fine but towards the end of the day at the end of the front straight (and towards the end of a given session) I...

Kelly Blue Book Values off 17.6% in 3 months

KBB is worthless for specialty cars. Your best bet is to watch the actual market for NSXs to see what people are asking and how quickly they are selling. Also, I've noticed KBB is worthless for trades as well. Even on every day cars. I haven't seen a dealer offer anywhere near KBB trade values...

    Opinions on NSX market values

I've also noticed that more and more OEM parts are showing up as discontinued and some have doubled in price since I first started owning NSXs about 8 years ago. I tend to think this is going to have an impact on NSX owners in the not-so-distant future. The question will be...what sort of...

    Opinions on NSX market values

I've been watching the market pretty closely for the last year. I agree, I think 97-01 are strong sellers because you get the iconic pop up light front end plus the superior 6spd and 3.2 not to mention all of the other upgrades the car got as an NA2. Prices have soared upwards. I started a...

    5 speed vs. 6 speed?

I've owned a US 5 speed, 5spd with Japanese gear set, and US 6spd. By far I like the 6spd the best. And by far I hate the US 5spd.
