Wow!!! Tony Stewart runs over fellow driver and kills him on track.....

There's times when you walk into a room and hear part of a conversation that just doesn't make sense on its own, something just so totally out of place that it's almost impossible to figure out what was said before if you didn't know by actually hearing it. Things like, "if it wasn't for my...

    The infamous newb cannon kit

When I had a BBSC put on my car, it came with 440cc injectors. At a bit under 7psi, they were at 100% duty cycle. Have 750cc now, much happier. If you're not going to go above 6-7psi, you will probably be out of the danger zone, but not optimal even there.

Police Use Of Force Drops 60% When Officers Required To Wear Video Cameras

For what it's worth, when I went through the academy in WA five years ago, they told us repeatedly that we should act at all times as though someone was recording us, because with the rise of the cell phone camera, someone probably was. I took that to heart, and nothing I've ever done has been...

    Dali Racing Order

Coming up on three months since I contacted BJ, sounded encouraging at first... but not much from him in the last month. Starting to think nothing is really going to change with Dali, no resolution so far. Will update if anything changes.

Nice. Two questions, what muzzle device is that, and with the upcoming change in WA law, are you planning to make that an SBR?

Good thing no one got hurt

All the people who had to replace engines due to the IMS issue would probably say even if Porsche does know how to make a proper engine, they don't always put one in your car.

Honda: Back in the saddle again

It could be cultural arrogance, a conviction that stupid Americans with their lifted pickups and air cooled Harleys just don't understand a high strung race bred engine like Honda used to make. I think it is the same attitude that kept us from getting a proper Silvia with an SR20 turbo.

    Dali Racing Order

Sent an email to Dali about an issue from last year. Cautiously optimistic, will update when appropriate.

Couple of points to consider, The 'econocan' suppressor is legal if properly registered. It is apparently not legal to replace the oil filter, unless you are a licensed manufacturer. The product page on Cadiz Gun Works even says so, and you can pay them $25 to screw on a new filter. Now...

Am I right in thinking the e-form is for trusts only, as under current rules you would need a pen on paper CLEO signature for an individual transfer?

Looking at youtube video of the gel tests, the 5.7 T6 ammo doesn't actually separate, and since it's certainly not designed to expand, it doesn't look like it would have any better terminal effects than a green tip 5.56mm (which will also blow right through soft body armor). The 9mm, "G2 RIP,"...

I've never found them comfortable. If they don't fit you, then the only other reason I can think of to have them is for an 'end of the world' kind of scenario. Great respect for what the platform can do, but I don't want to own one. Except the Saiga-12. I love mine, it's fast to shoot and...

When you talk about velocity, and how much is enough for any caliber, you also need to consider the intended purpose and especially, bullet construction. Apologies to those who already know this, but it's not common knowledge and I think some might be interested. If you're looking for a range...

Michael Schumacher 'Critical' after Skiing Accident

Agreed, in bad taste even for him. Hoping for a complete recovery, Schumacher is truly one of the greatest of all time.

    Scammer Purchase Question

I haven't had this exact thing happen to me, but once I bought a set of wheels on Prime and used Paypal for the transaction. My car had a front BBK at the time, and I specifically asked the seller to measure the clearance on the front wheel spokes, by putting a straightedge on the mounting...

Looks great, have you had much luck finding factory blk ammo, or do you load your own? Here's mine, waiting for an optic. 8.5" barrel. I think I posted about this a few pages ago, finally got my Sig brace. Legally, this is not a buttstock and does not convert an AR pistol into a rifle...

Paul walker dies at age 40

Bigglezworth, I think you have it exactly right. Look at the history of F1 racing, more of the danger in the past was from the design of the circuits than the strength of the cars. A few decades ago you had tracks with steel guardrails ranging from several inches to several feet away from the...

Another one of Senna's cars... sort of.

This didn't come out quite as nice as I had hoped, and it was never meant to be more than quasi-scale. My son turns two in January, but when he gets old enough to understand, and ask about the car I made for him, I'll have the chance to tell him about one of the legends I grew up with. I had...

Only downside to Rock River is they don't take standard mags, at least as far as there is a standard for the AR10. Magpul is turning into the gold standard, and the RR gun takes FAL mags. If you have a bunch of them, no problem, but if not, they're not quite as easy to find.

    The Official 2014 F1 thread....

They're already short fueling and either hoping for a safety car or switching to a lean map for a good chunk of the race. The fuel flow limit means that the amount of boost isn't so important- no matter how much you want to run, there's only so much fuel to burn with it. Efficiency is king in...

Why do these cars have so many owners.

Many people who get an NSX may buy one thinking it's an 'entry level' supercar. As they become more successful in life and think they need to move up, they may sell to make room for a Ferrari or something similar... and then come back to the NSX, I know there's more than one forum member who...

How can you arrest a driver, impound his car, if he tests clean for drugs & alcohol??

Ok, I don't know exactly how the laws there work, but here we would never book a dui on a blood draw alone. Do you mean that he was taken to a police station (some have a jail attached) and processed before release, or that he spent the night in jail? It may seem like a stupid or trivial...

How can you arrest a driver, impound his car, if he tests clean for drugs & alcohol??

Don't take this as trying to defend the officers in this one, because I don't really know enough to have a firm opinion, but curious about something. The blood test was negative and they still made an arrest? Here in WA, if there's a result over the alcohol limit from the BAC machine (breath)...

Children in front seat in an NSX without passenger airbag?

In WA, the law requires rear seat when practical. Obviously in this case it is not, and my 1 y/o son rides with me all the time. My lieutenant thinks it's hilarious when I show up to work with the car seat. Check your local laws and print out a copy if you're afraid of a ticket, but I would be...
