Is there a safe way to remove the ball arm from the socket on the rear view mirror?

I'm trying to put in an aftermarket horn. Is there a place to source the 2 male connectors and plug into the existing plugs? It seems the "Honda" horn connectors are a different size than the ones on the NSX. Something like this:

When reinstalling my intake manifold, I accidentally dropped the 12mm nut (the one right beside the alternator) somewhere. I took the manifold back off in search for this nut, however, I was unable to find it. From my memory, it was dropped between the alternator wires and the manifold bolt...
