The FD was on R-comps and the NSX was on street tires. In fact it was on RE070 tires which are oem tires for the new GTR. I'd like to think that result would have been much different had the nsx been on R-comps.
Ravi doesn't know how to setup suspension for jack, I was only two seconds behind him in an Integra with no v-tec:biggrin:. Just kidding, the car looked good out there Ravi! Looking forward to see what you can do with it with more adjustments and seat time!
If the tires were on the rims when the damage occured there is a good chance they could be damaged. They're is still a greater chance that they are not balanced correctly. I would get the balanced re-checked and see what happens.
You said you installed 4 new tires on the rims right? If so who installed the tires? It's a good possibility that whoever installed them didn't balance the tires correctly. Take them back to whoever installed them and tell them there is a vibration, or if you have a shop you trust with a tire...
That one is all over every car forum right now, pretty much sums up those slow drivers in high horsepower cars very well. I have been stuck behind quite a few of those cars on my track days.
At my first track day I caught up to a mustang that was running on slicks, caged, had close to 400hp...
Every track day I have done they always tell us before the first session "remember, cold tires, cold brain, cold track". Not to say it would have mattered much in this situation but still no reason to be that aggressive on the warm up lap.
For those of you that played the game at E3, how did the cars drive? I haven't seen any game play videos for some odd reason. I grew up playing Gran Turismo 1-4 and then I bought forza 2 the day it came out and never looked back at GT. This was because the cars just felt like they drove the...
I was trying to watch this race today while I was working but it didn't go so well . Awesome series to watch! I hope Billy goes and breaks some records now at Redline Time Attack!
I'm glad I didn't put all my marbles in one basket waiting for GT5. I have been enjoying Forza 3 and 2 for quite a while now. I do believe though that GT5 will blow Forza 3 out of the water though. I grew up playing the crap out of GT 1-4 so I'm not biased toward either game. GT5 just looks...
Anyone watching the magic tearing apart the Celtics? Although these officials have been questionable to say the least. What do you guys think of that call on Perkins? I would love to see Orlando win this series.
I wish I was able to catch the race but it was aired at 4:30 A.M. here in AZ.
I set my alarm and then just slept right through it somehow:frown:
Of course the lousy speed channel hasn't replayed the race for some reason either
I was hoping to hear some information about this beast to. Did Billy make it to the track at all? I know he had a prior engagement to a grand am race, but I wonder if he made it to the time attack at all. Would love to know some times or even what happened.
Wish I had the opportunity to come over and say Hi, however I was really busy with everything and I was parked on the opposite side of the dragstrip:frown:. Sounds like you did pretty good though! What kind of lap times did you manage to pull off? I ran a 1:20.7 in my old Integra LS with over...
I think I would learn more from getting a ride along with you in your car because my integra puts about 120 wheel horsepower :frown:, add that to the fact I have super sticky tires throttle control almost never happens.
I know the higher octane is better for boosted engines but I thought you...
So if your running a higher octane at the track will you be upping the boost and turning out more power? Something tells me your going to have to be very careful with your right foot coming out of corners.
