Just announced during Sony's E3 Press Conference!

Latest trailer shows:
- New tracks including Top Gear's Test Track (with replay angles that look very much like those featured on the show)
- The Stig
- A SuperGT Xanavi GT-R getting lifted as it gets rear-ended and lurches forward into another
- An Evo ramming a corner, catching air, and rolling with a dented front quarter panel
- Pop-up headlights turning on (Corvette)
- Night racing (one part actually implies day-to-night)
- An audio recording session with Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull

Ive heard its coming out this day and this day and this day. I really hope your right cause Im getting really tired of them pushing back the release date constantly. I understand they keep pushing it back to add things but couldnt they just have a download to update the game? AHHHHH WHATEVER lol.
 
As far as I know, this is the first official release date the game has ever been given (certainly the first it has been given at E3), but I agree that there have been tons of rumored and implied release dates for quite a LONG time. So much so, that I was ready to rip Sony a new one if they did not announce a release date during this E3.

I guess they could of been rumors. I was going by what the guys at game stop told me I figured they knew there stuff. I cant wait to roll up in the NSX at midnight to get it LOL I will probably have to have to talk to a 100 people about the car.

I'm glad I didn't put all my marbles in one basket waiting for GT5. I have been enjoying Forza 3 and 2 for quite a while now. I do believe though that GT5 will blow Forza 3 out of the water though. I grew up playing the crap out of GT 1-4 so I'm not biased toward either game. GT5 just looks like it has everything a car enthusiast could want, and forza 3 seemed to be a little rushed so it could come out a year ahead of it. Definitely looking forward to GT5 and more details :biggrin:
 
I'll believe it when I see it. For now my November video game budget is going to Modern Warfare Black Ops.

Sorry, but Polyphony has burned me enough times that I am actually annoyed when I hear of yet another proposed release date.

The least they could have done was translate GT4 to the PS3 platform to hold us over.

Although the GT series of racing games are fun, once you've experienced iRacing on a 1080p simulator you can't go back to a gaming system.
 
Day-to-night racing confirmed...GTPlanet nabbed an exclusive video where they accelerated the transition so it could be shown within the two minute limit of the E3 demo.

Looking forward to it. I hope they made the date. It will be hard to top forza3, but this certainly looks very good.
 
I'll believe when I see it, this car is such a vaporware its not even funny. They keep on delaying it to add useless details like grass details and etc.
