    Snap Ring Failures: Data Needed

Mine failed at around 166k, the last 90+k of that was with a CTSC.... the ring fractured into small pieces that went into the gears with a bang, so i just swapped it all out for a 5spd from a 94 with about 50k on it.

Does anyone know where to find this part?

The NSX uses TE connectivity / AMP .070 multilock series connectors for the non-waterproof stuff. Mouser.com is a good source. Under hood sensor connectors are Sumitomo. Search for TSO Honda for a place that carries them

    Drive-By-Wire Conversion

if you look at the pictures on ebay for the 17010-sl0-N00 for NSX-R, you can see they changed the design of the accel pedal from the pictures of the '02 you posted, maybe it's a ounce lighter? Instead of the cable pivot on the outside of that welded bolt head and bent inwards, they mounted the...

    Help needed with ALB system

It's not the speed sensor, they're just a variable reluctance signal that feeds a variable frequency sine wave into the ABS ECU, I don't think there's a high/low pair. I'm assuming this is the original 91-97? type ABS with the separate pump and solenoid modules? The 40A fuse is only connected...

HugaBuga's Fast and Easy DIY auto-up Window Mod

http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/145086-DIY-Window-Switch-AUTO-UP-function/page2 this thread covers the same topic, and the pictures are still there... I did this mod a year ago and it works great. I used epoxy to make the support for the spring. It took a few hours but I think...

    Changing rear bank coils

Mine's attached with two bolts hidden under the trunk carpeting, was pretty easy to align with the captive nuts on the bracket when putting it back in.

    Question on my CTSC

you might want to grind down the end of the bit, most are rounded off, you'll need a nice sharp end on it... fyi, mine came with an aluminum plug, with a very wide and shallow straight cut... and was worn so much it was useless.. had to resort to a pair of pliers...

    What are these for?

    DIY Window Switch AUTO-UP function

also thanks to Hugo... after completing the regulator upgrade, including the bushing for the drivers side I also added the auto up feature, per Hugo's tips. I used a bit of expoxy putty in the switch cavity to support the spring instead of a rubber piece. switch now has the two stage 'up'...

    Repainting wiper arms

I used SEM Trim Black, took them down to bare metal as much as possible. I used a small 2 jaw gear puller to gently pop them off, since you can't pry without risk of damaging the plastic surround. the previous owner sprayed them in place... and just like everything else he did to the car, it...

Is this guy a genius or an idiot?

could be the bypass hose, mine was collapsed, yours might be cracked, letting in too much air...it's the tube that heads down under the blower, can't see it without an inspection camera. on the end of the metal tube they used a cheap rubber hose to connect to the vacuum controlled valve. the...

    Bilstein vs. KWV3

You need a pair of #6 for each, mine was 91 so these are were a thinner concave updated part to me. you reuse the #16 collars... my rubber bushings were partially liquified after 24 years. The #9 is not reused, KW's come with a thin rubber isolator that double-stick tapes into the hat...

    CTSC bypass valve question

No idea on the age of your system, but mine hadn’t been touched since it was installed in ’99. Car ran bad unless on boost, but the guy I bought it from was oblivious to how it should have been, so he just lived with it as both he and the car progressively faded with age. The main flaw in...
