I have a 1991 with EPS.

But is there a difference between the 1991 EPS rack and the 2002 rack that would make them incompatible with each other?

Can anyone confirm the differences between the 1991 and 2002 EPS racks? Apparently the new ones have an extra wire, but I haven't been able to confirm. I need to fix mine and there's a 2002 for sale, be great if they're interchangeable.

I'm behind you on this. My EPS rack makes some terrible noises, which I assume to be the worn bushings, and it's twitchy with small inputs. Any idea what causes that?
