    Code 16, Replace ECU?

Just to add a data point, I did have a bad female socket in the ECU connector. You could probe it and it was fine, but it would not make contact with the male pin in the ECU. The way I found it was to remove the ECU cover and probe the suspect connection from inside the ECU. So some times if...

    Issues after clutch install. HELP!

If you can't get the crank to turn, start taking it back apart. There must be something binding the flywheel to the case or something like that. Everytime you take a part off try turning the crank to see it can move. That way you can identify the cause.

    Wanted: gen1 ABS brake accumulator. ('91- '93)

Prefer a "non original", read not 25 years old, accumulator. Not sure if I want to sink money into repairing the original ABS or upgrade to the latest version. So this will hold me over, while I decide which way to go.

    Updated Hagerty Values

I have an issue with the "Pro", seems Keith never throw out the first pitch, he lets the person involved with the car set the baseline and then, usually knocks 10-20k off. On the rare occasion, he might go slightly higher.

an engine can be turned either direction, it should only run in one direction, but it can turn both ways. No, it is not.

Poll: Do you use the parking brake/gear/both?

Sorry for the long post, but this is how I understand it. The reason for selecting the correct gear for the direction facing when parked. on some engines that have a hydraulic cam belt/chain tensioner. During normal operation, the tensioner is on the undriven or slack side of the belt/chain...

How to bleed the 91 abs system without the T wrench

Wavey1, Sounds like your accumulator is dead. It is what "holds" the excess fluid under pressure until needed. If the diaphragm is bad or the air charge has leaked out, you need a new one. That is why the T-Handle tool is useful, it measures how much fluid the accumulator holds when fully...

    Brake upgrades...

Depends, most of the races I have watched, use meters and the boards are 50 meters apart. The tracks I have driven, are random, usually just sticks in the ground, three sticks, then two sticks lastly a single stick.

No First Gen NSXs at any of the Scottsdale auctions?

I think in the big picture, if one went across the block, it would have generated interest. Maybe not in the room, but the TV audience would have their eyes opened to the model. And that is where the value increase would come from.

Is the steering wheel supposed to move?

Interesting, maybe sometime after '91 they realized they had a weak point and changed the attachments to aluminum.

Is the steering wheel supposed to move?

They are not "rivets" that hold the block in place. They are holes that are injected with nylon. The nylon solidifies and acts as a shear point. in your photo, it looks like someone installed those aluminum rivets. I did not want to loose the collapsibility of the column, and feel replacing...
