I have a 997TT too. I find the torque around 3k RPMS with this when I'm on the boost. And then it builds like crazy.
My GT350 has a higher torque similar to the R8, but still has around 450 lb ft, so plenty to pull on.
I am 5'10" and found it weird sitting with no height adjustment but got...
HI,
You can't separate engine performance selection and suspension in the NSX like you can in a McLaren - there are integrated - comfort, sport etc changes both performance and suspension. That being said, suspension in the NSX is firm but not teeth rattling - way worse in a GT3 or even 911 in...
So it's likely your battery. Letting the car sit without a tender for month or two is bold. There is also a fault with the TCU where it can draw power even when the car is off (or something to this extent). Happened to mine. To prevent it, turn off the entertainment/radio unit prior to shutting...
Go read McL boards. Everyone is talking how that car is going to bomb. Other brands eat their own, too.
210 plus options is what 230k? 240k?
not in the same league. and at that point, just wait and buy a used 720S.
i know you work for Acura, but NSX price point is 130-150k after discount...
NO, he's just providing a counterpoint. I've been treated exceptionally well by Acura as well. Car is amazing.
Every manufacturer has duds - see McLaren forums, GT3 engines, go read Ferrarichat. It happens.
Couldn't agree more. McLaren may have peaked design wise. THe function over form this is going too far with Senna and Speedtail. Things don't have to be ugly ie Valkyrie and One.
I really like the 720S in an exotic way, but it isn't as sleek or as sinister as an NSX. I think I may have to have...
I think I recognize your handle from lurking on MacLife. I agree the car is really quick off the line, but the 570S pulls and pulls beyond it. 720 is a spaceship.
There is no photo that I have seen that conveys how bonkers the car looks from the front. It is Aventador wide. MIght be the...
Well McLaren did it for free on the 12c....
I would 120% be in either way though.
That 600 hp mark is a big barrier.
If they can get over that and get the car to run 10.7 or lower that would be unreal.
Huracan Performante is unbelievable. Spyder for sure.
Couldn't drive it every day. Even a 720S I would find difficult.
NSX daily exotic, Perf or 720 as weekend Car.
Or better yet, the 750LT...which will be insane.
Agreed, hypercar performance. but it's also 2x-3x the price point. Let's keep that in mind. If I could ball one i'd have one. but i can't.
As ive said before, NSX at 200k is terrible. NSX at 130-140k is unbeatable. IMHO, of course.
Agreed. Cannot like Gallardo. Have tried so many times. Seems like a compromise compared to the outrageousness of what came before it.
Also, can't compare anything to a 458. May be the greatest design of the past 30 years.
My car has 4200kms. we got it at 2700kms. no issues so far (touch wood). I dont fear it breaking like i did the Ferrari I traded it.
Can't compare it to the Huracan. totally different cars.
After being at the Lambo dealer recently, I want both. But cannot afford both. A performante would be...
And so has my NSX.
My experience is that all brands at this price point have issues. Cracked glass on $350k 720s, battery issues on LaFerrari. It happens.
Let's check back in a few years. My E63 AMG wagon has rattles inside and squeaks, and the designo badge "G" fell off last week.
Over on the Ferrari boards, everyone knows not to own a Benz long term - AMG less of a gamble. Quality is not there on German cars. What you picture them to be and...
