FWIW on my 91 JDM the existing 1156 socket are plugged into the harness by two spade connectors in a T configuration so no need to cut the sockets off - simply terminating the new socket wires with male spades and plugging them into the harness plug works fine.

Mini flathead, gentle pressure, mirror pops right off.

Looks like you're right - d'oh just assumed that the setup was identical between JDM and USDM for headlights. Have an extra set of 9005/9006 B1s now :) At least one of the bulbs is H1 as I read off the bulb just now - does look like both are H1.

On my 91 JDM after removing the bulbs I see a bulb retainer that looks very fixed as per photo - Am I missing something here or is this removable to follow the instructions

I am a complete ignoramus when it comes to suspension but I have just installed a set of KW V3 Clubsports and lowered my '91 by about 1.25" and feel what I perceive as bumpsteer introduced into the ride. Any time I hit an uneven spot in the road the steering pulls, which gets worse when at speed...

e-rod how did you go with the 17x8.5 in the front, any rubbing? I'm running 17x9 +45 (just limited availability on CE28SL when I was ordering) on stretched 215 tyres in the front and trying to figure out if it's possible to get to 235 or 245 tread width with the right spacer/camber setup.

There's a bolt that's directly beneath the fusebox but it's unclear as to whether it's a valid grounding point.

Apologies for silly question, would anyone be able to point me to a good ground point next to the dash footwell fusebox?

I have a '91 Japanese import that has the OEM keyless brain, however the fob did not come with the car and I have no idea if the brain actually works or not. Is there a way by which I can scan/reproduce the fob code and have a replacement fob made in the event that it does work?

Just looking to share - have just found that to my eye Tamiya XF-84 Dark Iron is a fairly close match to the center console paint. YMMV.

Hi guys, My NSX DOHC emblem in the center armrest is a bit scuffed up and what looks a bit like a top layer of clearcoat (?) is a little scratched off. Anyone know if the emblem is aluminium or plastic and what's the easiest to refinish it?

Any kind of L-shaped bracket will do (here I use two brackets spare from some IKEA cabinet I had lying around), epoxied to the cassette. I epoxied a piece of aluminium here as a base plate and the red thing is a flat magnetic mount held to the plate by the adhesive backing that was already on...

Nothing groundbreaking and it's been done before but thought I'd show off my homemade cassette tablet adapter setup - looks fairly clean without having to modify the stock console IMO. Has the hassle of not being wired in for now but happy to just have a music player and maps via Bluetooth...

Hi guys, I have ivory door sills that don't look pristine ivory anymore (there's a black/dirty tinge to it) and the end pieces of the door sills have black scuff marks. Detergent/microfibre/elbow grease does nothing. Any tips on what might get it back to clean?

Hi all, new to the community! Just took possession of a '91 and found that the plastic press screws that mount the trim panels behind the seats are mostly broken. Does anyone have any recommendations on how these might be repairable?
