    Need NSX Loan Refinancing Advice

Go to PeopleFirst.com. They finance any car, any year for any amount (credit permitting of course). Right now they are offering 9.99% for 60 to 72 months on a refinance. A little lower I think if you go for less months.

Why don't NSX owners use alarms.

It's kind of weird that I start a thread on alarms, to wake up today and find that someone broke into my Mazda MX-6 (daily driver). They broke the plastic button (only damage) that attaches the door glass to the track at the back of the drivers side door. This allowed them to pull the glass...

What do you DISLIKE about your NSX's?

I double that Edo. These cars need more nuts!!!!!!!! Oh ya, and a 97+ 6 speed with 4:55 R&P. [This message has been edited by James Cruz (edited 02 February 2001).]

    Tires...

I'm also running the SO2's and they are amazing tires!!! They stick to street like glue. Tire wear is reasonable considering the low tread wear.

Why don't NSX owners use alarms.

lemansnsx, The device I was talking about just looped around the bottom of the steering wheel so it would not just hang off the pedals. I realize that steering wheels are hollow, and that it takes very little effort to cut through them. However, if you have something connecting the brake and...

Why don't NSX owners use alarms.

There is a simple product that locks the clutch and brake pedals together with the steering wheel. This a great thing since you cannot press one without pressing the other. The steel is pretty thick and would be very hard to cut IMO way down under the dash. The only problem with devices like...

    new wheels

I agree with dswartz. The Fikse FM/10's are the baddest rim for the NSX. No other rim even comes close. In fact, most other rims are really made out of wood and covered with aluminum foil for the shine. Ok, so maybe I own a set of FM/10's. I am very happy with them, but they are a little...

    H&R spring questions

Blast off method!! I like that. Years ago I used this method on a Toyota Supra. I'm still looking for parts (and my front tooth) in my neighbor's yard! ha, ha When in doubt, just remember safety first.

What should my Occupation be, so I can earn an NSX?

I cash advanced 4 credit cards to buy my baby! The power of plastic!!! Just joking. Besides picking a career that you will love, try and find one that is also in demand. There are a lot of interesting things you can study, but you won't find most of those jobs in the Sunday classifieds. I...

    H&R spring questions

They are under a little pressure, not enough to warrant a spring compressor. Like Nsxotic said, lie the strut on the floor with the end pointing away from you. Loosen the center nut and it will 'pop' apart. The spring might expand an inch at most with very light pressure. I have lowered 2...

    Light Weight Flywheels

Brad, You might want to check with Dali, as they offer nice packages on tranny's. The nice thing is, he ships it to your door complete, and the entire job takes no longer than just replacing the clutch. This could be cheaper/faster than paying labor to have the gears/R&P installed in yours.

Best place to install alarm in Vancouver B.C area?

The only way to get remote starting is on an automatic, or figure out how to leave it parked with the clutch pushed in. Doh! ha, ha

Why don't NSX owners use alarms.

That's very true. However, some insurance companies do not shell out the cash for things that were added to the car. As we all know, 'book value' does not take into consideration aftermarket items. Plus, your rates could go thru the roof on a huge pay out. I was paying $59 a month on a 93...

Why don't NSX owners use alarms.

I have noticed that many NSX owners do not have alarms installed on their cars. I was at EXPO 2000, as well as being a member of a fairly large Florida NSX club, and I see very few owners with alarms on their cars. I know the car comes stock with a few simple security features, and I realize...

Best place to install alarm in Vancouver B.C area?

I have the Intelligard 7000. I like the alarm a lot. It has a lot of nice features, plus a list of things that can be added. The two features I like the most are the anti-car jacking (ACI) and engine control door lock features. The ACI works along with a two button rocker switch (mine is...

    Hi Guys, it's me again...HEHE

You would be better off getting a newer one than trying to convert an older one to what you desire; dual air bags and upgraded a/c. The question you need to ask yourself is, how much can I afford to spend. Then go out an start searching for a car in that price range. It's really that easy...

    New NSX Turbine!

You are all way off! I just called Dionne Warwick, and she filled me in on our future dream car. The brother's psychic girlfriend is a fraud, and is not licensed with the SFFN (Psychic Friends and Family Network) She told me that Honda is having so much trouble building 15,000 Civics a day...

    any advice...?

I had 295/35/18's Bridgestones on 18X10's and they rubbed on the inside on big bumps with H&R springs. I since have changed to 285/35's and they still rub on big bumps. I will keep this size tire as I like the look a lot, and the rubbing is so minimal that it doesn't bother me all. I'm not...

NOS kit...any cheaps ones out there?

The kit available from NOS will not have the dash switches for sure. As for the rest of it, it is very similar. RM does not make any of the components except for the ashtray switches. The rest of the kit is a simple NOS 5115 (I think?) kit used on Mustang GT's. I made my own system as I was...
